Just throwing an idea around

SLPNTIM

My case has been overheating like crazy. And I always wanted to do a wall mounted build. I was wondering if I layed out all of the parts on plywood. And mounted it against the wall would the cards temperature drop dramatically. Because with the current setup the second gpu is basically getting no air. BTW the build is in the sig.

have you tried cleaning your fans and GPU and maybe buying better fans?

A good aftermarket cooler with that cpu is almost a must tbh.

But mounting it to the wall will give better cooling, but a case with good airflow is still better because the heated up air gets replaced by case fans, when you whack everything against the wall, you don't have them, unless you mount some of course :)

Take everything out. Clean everything, and put it back in. Also, removing panels can help.

I have cleaned the computer completely more than once did not help. I have bought the best fan still not enough. The case is just too small for what I have in it. I have the cooler Master v8 cpu cooler on it BTW. I tried taking off the panels too. The computer just overheats then shuts down.

The problem probably is that your case has almost no airflow possibilities at all. If you want the temperatures to go down, I'd either suggest getting a case with better airflow, or, like you said, making a wall mounted system.

I kinda figured it just feels ridiculous because I had temp problems before adding the second 7850.
