idle: 29oc

Highest temp while gaming: 61oc

Highest temp while rendering(everything 100% usage): 65oc

This is the stock cooler that Dell uses as i carried my i3 across from my old dell. Its a decent cooler, definitely better then the stock and its very quiet.

Edit: Prime95: 58oc(weird as the ambient temp was around 5oc higher then normal).

We was playing around with a Pentium 4 4.00GHz a few years ago and that got to 110 degrees I think (or not far from it) before something went wrong

Got a 2600k, hyper threading on, running at 1.45v, 4.5GHz (yes I know, terrible chip), hits low 70's with an NH-D14 in prime95, up in to the 80s in Linpack stress tests with an ambient of around 23dgrees C.

102*C on i7-950 at 4.2GHz with 1.35v with stock cooler :)... I ran Intel burn test, lasted 7 minutes before it died lol...

Nowadays my stock heatsink is losing its quality, when I first got it, the CPU idles around 45*C and 76*C on stock clock... Right now on stock clock, my CPU idle 57*C and load at 92*C...

You wouldn't think the temps should change that much over time. Crappy drying out Intel stock thermal paste maybe. The heatsink isn't dusty is it?

Ever reached ? Basically 100 C before it started throttling, after i found out that my fan wasn't spinning so i had to plug the CPU Fan header back on.

Stop bloating nonsense, and reason to contribute in a constructive manner.

I've reached about 48c tops on the 3570k... it hasn't gone higher than that, even after running Prime for about 45mins and Memtest side by side. I think something might be wrong, or my PC reporting the wrong temps. What other tests can i carry out?
