Fallout Shelter is coming to Android devices next month

Fallout Shelter - the XCOM looking, simulation game - is finally coming to Android devices next month. At E3 Bethesda announced it, and it was available that same day, but only for iOS devices. It's a shame that we Android users had to wait to get Fallout Shelter, but at least it's not far away now. Collectively we can all go "Yay! Hooray!" now. 

 

This news comes from Bethesda's vice president of marketing and PR Pete Hines, who announced the news on Twitter the other day.

Are you ready to get your Fallout Shelter on during the wait for Fallout 4? Because I am certainly ready.

Yeah but you can buy packs of cards. Sorta no point and very limited in the stuff you can do. There is a lot of stuff in the game but no real end point

The game was fun for awhile but then it basically turned to babysitter because there is no need to build upon the shelter much if you get the build design right.

I do know people (my age) who use their phones for calling, texting, looking something up every now and then, and pretty much nothing else. It makes me genuinely question what happens in their lives.

I use my phone quite extensively every day.

 

I do calling and texting of course, but I also use various apps. Nokia Drive, for example, is ridiculously kickass for GPS navigation.

 

Certainly there are limitations to WP 8.1, but nothing that is a straight up deal breaker. All the major apps I need are in the ecosystem.

 

Plus, Windows Mobile 10 is going to fix a ton of said limitations.

I actually like the Facebook WP app (or at least the design of it), but yeah having no native YouTube app really drove me nuts when trying to use WP

How so? The Microsoft YouTube app does load their website, which is less than desirable, but it works damn well on their site still. Besides, blame Google for the lack of a YT app - Microsoft has made several native ones, in which Google blocked the API key for them. Yet Google refuses to make an app themselves.

 

As for Facebook, sure, the native app probably isn't as good as the Android/iOS one, but it works fine for me. Is there some feature that is missing on it?

 

Besides, I spend a lot of time on a real PC, and thus, mobile Facebook is not that important to me.

as i said, i want social networking on my phone to have proper apps. when messenger is done by different people than facebook, and when they both trail the android versions by months, and youtube not even having a real working app, i dont consider it a good ecosystem

 

yeah thats what im waiting for, i have some nokia with 10 TP on it so far but i havent tried it
