Do you use Steam Music?

I use Steam music on Skyrim cause I've gotten used to the music. It's nice to spice things up once in a while.

EDIT: Just noticed that it doesn't support .flac files. So there's an entire album I cannot play through it Thanks Valve ._.

I didn't even know it was a thing till I just googled it after seeing this thread aha

But I don't get the point? Or at least for me there isn't one, because I listen to all my music off Spotify, and I'm always in borderless windows mode anyway so tabbing in and out of game is instant

Wait, is this a thing?

Yes, it just lets you play music using the Steam overlay. It's quite handy, cause if you listen to music whilst playing games, you don't need to alt tab to change song/album

Yeah, this is kind of a deal breaker to me too, but shift tabbing to change a song is still faster than alt tabbing.

I use iTunes and run it separately with Steam :3

I used to do the same [but with WMP] Since Skyrim doesn't have a borderless window option, alt tabbing got annoying and sometimes crashed my game :S

I'm trying to adapt to Steam Music, well because it's completely different from iTunes. Well sometimes I experience crashes like you, alt+tab, the game doesn't respond, crash....

I'd use it if I was using SteamOS, but since I'm not using SteamOS, then the answer is "No".

I do use it because for some reason my WMP keeps crashing in windows 10.

But they need their to expand it to support a wide variety of all the well known audio formats.

Only have a handful of soundtracks, but I use it for those.

Also, don't have enough storage to keep music on my PC, so I don't get to use it that much :<

No because no FLAC support.

You could convert your FLAC tracks into MP3 at 320Kbps though.
