I'm looking for new headphones and I saw Sennheiser HD600's on Amazon for $310. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00004SY4H/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B00004SY4H&linkCode=as2&tag=leafrolan-20&linkId=5KIKXOGIFFXAI7VS

Is this legit? Since every other place I see them they are $399.   I saw that Amazon sold them direct for $399 as well. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00004SY4H/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

Just wondering because I saw this video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C7m4ZvED6pc

Probably getting ready to clear out their inventory.

Although it does say fulfilled by Amazon, but idk if that actually means anything towards the legitimacy of the seller.

No experience shopping on Amazon, but given that the seller is Senheiser and these are Senheiser products, you're probably fine. You can never be too cautious though.

The seller isn't Seinheiser though? Look at the picture.

Doesn't amazon (and similar sites like ebay) give a good buyer protection? It's part of their service, they provide the marketplace, processing, and protection, in exchange for margin of profits.

It's fulfilled by Amazon, so either way they will protect you if it is indeed fake.  Not like it would be, I've seen 600s lower than this.

HD600s? I always considered them to be $300 to begin with, HD650 $350. $400 for HD600 is too much, I don't care if Sennheiser wants that price or does MAP.

Yeah it's legit, but... The HD600s regular price is $300, and have seen them as low as $250 on Newegg.

Should also consider the Philips Fidelio X2s for $250 on Amazon.

No one can guarantee its legit, but there's nothing that makes it stand out as a fake. That's a fairly normal price.

Well $400 is its MSRP to being with when HD650 was Sennheiser's ToTL at $500

I've always looked at used prices. If you shave $100 off the price you've just got a 25% discount. There was a HD650 sold for $230 3 days ago on Headfi. $500 is way too much.

Which is why we have MSRP and street price. HD600's stable price seem to hover around 250 to 300 these days.

Seems like 650 and 600 have been falling in price lately, but then again Sennheiser normally controls the prices of their products pretty closely.

I've found that the 650 has been fluctuating pretty extremely. (See below)

It went as low as $250 (or 230, i think) on amazon. I don't think it'll be fake

Just before I bought my HD650s (used) I saw some new ones on Amazon for $265, but I waited too long and they went all the way up to $330 by the next day. Then I looked a few days ago and they were a fair bit over $400. It really makes me wonder what's going on with Sennheiser's stock, or if a bunch of people just returned them and sellers are trying to sell them as new products still.

Hey! New SIgnature!

I'm supposedly a person on the Internet, but you'll never know if I'm human or not ;)
