I can't fit my legs properly... I ask to be moved to the front so I'd be able to have a bit of leg room (which isn't first class, just coach) and the woman is like, you need to pay $50..... My knees have creases on them lol. This usually isn't a problem on international flights, but on domestic.... literally no space between me and the chair in front of me. I am 6'1 and my legs are a bit long, I can only imagine what the 6'3" guy has to go through.

Does anyone here actually fly business/ first? My family makes average income so when planning vacations it's usually the cheapest option available on airlines that we take, that way we can spend on other things rather than on the airplane, either it be international or domestic. I've looked up some videos on the first class of some 13 hour flights and man, they're loaded lol. The dudes get like 11 gormet meals (atleast they look that way), champagne and alot more. this guy had a suit and a freaking shower lmao

But yea, opinions on airlines?

They are getting more and more money based as time goes on. I think it was like 12.50$ for a bottle of water and a crappy turkey sandwich on a United airlines 5 hour flight

Never flown and I guess this is also one of the reasons why :P

Just seem very inconvenient.

I only rode an airplane once. Asiana Airlines. They were actually decent. The seats were fine, there was enough leg room, but it was 9 years ago, so i doubt there was free wifi.

I've flown ryan air they're considered the cheap option as I was only going to spain and the leg room was fine and I'm 6 1 too so maybe it just depends on the plane.

I find it fine to on international flights, but on domestic everything seems to be squished together. They take comfort out of the equation on domestic flights by the looks of it.

Depends on the carrier you choose really... If your taller and are worried, try get a seat at an emergency exit.. you may not be able to recline BUT they generally have more leg room for access to the exit.

Sometimes I wish I was tall, not just an average 5'10". Then I go on a flight, and thank Odin for my average height. I can sit pretty comfortable on most flights, as I tend to have a couple inches of breathing room between my knees and the seat in front of me.

american airliners are some of the scummiest airlines on earth, besides putting chairs as close as its humanly possible to fit people, some hide fee's that you end up paying more that the ticket itself

this is one of the greatest thing that has happened to me recently, and it happened on this forum, those involved have my eternal gratitude http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/198850-update-alex-got-his-moto-g2-lets-get-a-moto-g-for-alexgoeshigh-unofficial/ :')

and you heard what happened... I saw the smoke from my house.

That accident was 2 years ago. I flew 9 years ago. Funny thing, my mom took that airline just a month before the accident, she came back, but then a month later, flight 213 (the flight number she was on) crashed. Didn't know it would still be in operation.

I was once trying to sleep on a plane and due to a problem that stems from my autism I have to sleep at least somewhat sideways. Every time I was breathing I was pushing the girl next to me with my back, whom I knew and she forgave me.

I'm 5'9" and have a large, muscular frame.

My dad's 6'4", similar to me but bigger proportionally.

He has it really bad.

Sig under construction.

You Do Realise That Flight Is Like 11,000 I Think

First class? They go up to like 20 grand on some airlines. I think business is the best choice and isn't that much more money than economy. It is still substantially more than economy, but it is a good deal for long flights. On short flights I'd say just suck it up

I travel a lot and I've had two good flights. One of them was just a nice flight with a good crew. The other was absolutely fucking amazing. The economy seats were overbooked but Business Class wasn't and this was on a International flight. They moved us up to Business for NO COST. It's so great up there. Other than that, yeah airlines suck. Like $50 WiFi and like another $80 for TV.

24 fps for that "cinematic" feel

I've had a similar experience. While coming back from where my grandmother lives, we were going on Lufthansa on a 12 hour flight, and I think my mom got booked into first class or something so they had to move us up as well instead of downgrading my mom (sister and I), but they moved us up to either business or first, can't remember which cuz I was 9 at the time, but it was really amazing. Nice food, the bathroom wasn't a 2x2 crawl space, the food was lovely, the tv was nice and big, ridiculously nice and we didn't pay anything. Probably the best flight I've ever had

I'm 6'3" and change and 300 pounds (190cms and 135kg for the rest of you) and I've been on loooong flies (Dallas to Buenos Aires, no stops, like 12 fucking hours) And let me tell you I get nervous on flights so I couldn't sleep at all and had a lot of gas so I had to get up to fart every half hour.

If there is ever a next time I'll ship myself inside a fucking dead person's coffin rigged for air and such wearing diapers and I'd be a significantly improved experience.

I've flown quite a bit. I've flown Economy (the middle class/standard/regular one) every time except twice where the airline overbooked and I waited in the airport for another three hours and then got first class and a nice check. Frankly, it wasn't that great. Yes, more room, bigger seats, but the whole food thing is overrated. It wasn't that great.

International flights is where it is at though. Especially, Emirates because they're probably flying hella rich Saudi Arabians who want nothing but caviar. But, I've heard their Economy is terrible.

Just book an emergency exit seat. More leg room and you're off first in the case of an emergency landing.

Also, what's with all these random threads you keep putting up?

What planes are the national flights using? You should be able to bring up seat maps for comparison.

I have flown around Europe quite a bit (usually on a 737-800) and it ain't too bad for leg room. You won't be stretching out (go for a walk instead) but you can at least fit your legs in.
