Yup, a case. Watched the video and then I saw George there, total giveaway that it is going to be a case.

 

It'll probably be a mini-ITX or Micro-ATX case, but the images seem to show a big case, so maybe another line of full towers?

Now this got a bit more interesting.

 

Now I'm thinking this could be a AIO PC? Guess we'll find out in 4 days!

I'd just like to take the time and say that I called this 4-5 days ago.

 

Yes, George is the sole Product Manger for cases, but he is not the one leading this project  ;)

Ugly as it gets imo.

 

New logo looks fine, but this... wtf...

 

Lose all the bullshit angles and red/mesh accent parts that serve no purpose, and just give me a simple, rectangular Obsidian-series HTPC case.

Kinda guessed it. Doesn't look as good as proper small case though.

About time Corsair got themselfs an HTPC case and I usually like their cases (even their cheaper ones) but damn....it looks so...old and cheap.

Ok.

Now what's with all this TV living room fiasco lately.

Apparently people have gone insane, and think that it's a good idea to spend a lot of money on a gaming pc, in a case so small it will end up with the same problems as consoles (dust + small case = thermal throttling. Regardless of water cooling.), and then put it all on a big.....ugly.....TV.

 

If it was a large form factor monitor, that would be more acceptable. But not some store bought POS TV

Ketchup is better than mustard.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

Dubs are better than subs

Good lord. And I though the Bitfenix Aegis was an eyesore. What's up with great case manufacturers releasing such hideous new cases all of a sudden?

this case should have never got made

 

How is it expensive? 100 bucks for the AIO 100 for a z97 itx board and 100 for a 600 sfx gold certified PSU with a 92mm fan means that the case itself it's 100 bucks. It's more expensive than Silverstone's offerings yes but it's by no means expensive.

The internals are amazing. The exterior is what needs work. Then again, I'm sure they've done their research on who they expect to buy this, so maybe we're the crazy ones?

I'm probably one of the few that think this looks awesome.  It's the solution I've been needing for my living room, personally.  Many of my builds for clients have been smaller form factors per request of the customer, so this is a welcome addition to my arsenal of choices.

Am I the only one who thinks Corsair has fallen from being top dog in cases manufacturing and design to being not exactly good but a little more bad than not?

 

I feel like the guys leading the pack are NZXT.

 

They included soft foam with their Notcis 450...

The lapdog would be great if it was wireless. The case is meh, but I actually prefer the new corsair logo.

$399 for the bundle, that includes the chassis, mITX board, H5SF CPU liquid cooler, and an SFX 600watt PSU. 

 

Like most of you guys here, the overall look/ID didn't really get me at first, but seeing it in person changes everything. The overall build quality is a lot more compelling when you get up close and personal.

I don't know why Corsair thought the exterior design was a good idea. Either they purposfully limited their market demographic or they didn't consider that most people would want this case to be palletable to their significant other and/or more discreet as its in a living room setting.

So disappointed with the case, after Luke's video I thought they were going to change the aesthetics, at least a little.

*shrug* Still interested in the CPU cooler though. Can't wait for that to be sold stand alone.
