I talked to the cameraman for a Youtube Show called RoadKill and learned he used Avid and had 18 quad copters that all shot 4K.

Hardware fault testing my iMac (possible blown PSU) and looking into purchasing a VGA controller and buying another iMac shell with screen to house my custom build as i'm needing to get a case and monitor so why not kill 2 birds with 1 stone and have it look nice? (probably just 24" as my gf will get mad that the 27" will be gaming and the 24 will be for her, not worth the argument)

tech suport at school just got REKT. (i clicked the win 10 updater and told the teacher to get tech support bechause of an "unknown error") and the tech support guy restarted the pc five times before he gave up and told me that a cpu pcie 3.0 conector had broken xD

Finished all this last night. Brother upgraded his rig by ordering a 980Ti and a Corsair 540 case. I got the 780Ti from him for my rig. He felt out of his comfort zone as his build was originally pre-assembled, so asked me to do the swap for him. This is what my kitchen table looked like last night with my rig (troubleshooting because of a dead PSU and swapping the PSU)

 

Encountered my PC not booting after the 780Ti being installed (PSU was too weak, hence his 750 watt Corsair being redneck fitted on top of my case for testing) and 1 stick of his 16GB kit of Corsair Vengeance RAM was goosed.

So, last night, I had access to the 980Ti, a 780Ti and an i7 4770k CPU and I actually played games on NONE of it. I didn't have a spare HDD or SSD to put in my brother's build when I finished loading all of the hardware in the new case, so I just tested it with a Windows 8.1 installer prepared USB stick.

Took my brother's computer (my old one) and threw the GPU and PSU into the Core 2 Quad machine that I built just recently. 2 DVD drives, I call it "the Ripper", because it's going to have all the things needed on it to throw all the videos we have on DVDs to a hard drive, which we will then put on a home-built NAS.

 

And to those of you going "asshole", he never uses it. It's sat on his desk for the better part of a year doing bugger all.

I borrowed about a dozen movies from my dad that were on dvd and ripped them to my desktop so I can watch them when I want to instead of asking him to borrow them every time I want to. I also brought wolfenstien on steam summer sale for 15 bux yesterday and downloaded it last night.
