Lol same for here. Read a news article this morning saying how we didn't technically have a heatwave since to be considered one, it has to span over 3 or more days.

Like 10ish years ago here in Michigan it was like 40c-43c for a week straight. The first part of the week was stupidly humid (so it probably felt WAY hotter) then later in the week it was super dry outside since it was a drought. News was advising to conserve water and shit lol. It gets this hot and up to 45c pretty commonly but only for like a day, really rare to see it for such as long as it did.

Damn for a week? I would've died since I don't have air conditioning.

The hottest I've experienced was probably about 38 C. I live in the tropics too so it was extremely humid.

Yeah a couple years back, I went to visit my relatives in Hong Kong and Singapore, and goddamn, it was so humid there. It was extremely hard to breathe exiting the airport.

When you said that, I was like..hmm weird. Why is a Canadian using Fahrenheit lol? I forgot its on the US-Canada border. And you're lucky :( The 10min walk I took to buy lunch yesterday was brutal.

It was in 2007 in Tehran. It was 53 degress celsius and it is the hottest day I have ever experienced People were cooking eggs on the asphalt and cooking meat on the hoods of cars

10/10 for hygiene :)

My hottest day would probably be 100km east of Alice Springs NT, the temp hit 48 degrees, our poor VB Commodore wasn't happy, poor girl.

111F. I stepped outside for about 20 seconds, said "Nope", went back inside and didn't leave my house for a week.

Most people on here do that without the high temp outside lol

If there wasnt the wind from the storm then a lot of things would have exploded and many people would have died. Its crazy you can see about 3 feet ahead of you and then its just sand and sand.
