What comes after death?

Well first off please don't turn this into a war like my last thread... I wrote like 1 sentence and it turned into a fire fight about armies and taxes.... They seem to all turn into post wars that eventually get locked. This isn't meant to start shit or get anyone angry. I'm simply trying to see what people think on this topic.

I personally don't know. I'm just kind of living life to the fullest and waiting to see what awaits. If it's some sort of religion with hell in it, well then fackity fack.

What do you guys think?

I'm kind of tipping towards reincarnation, but I really don't know. I don't really have a belief at the momentito

I personally think when you die, its just like sleeping.... forever. That's my simple explanation. I don't believe in any religion as it was created to keep order back when life was much much harder.

Well you can't tell me you haven't ever asked the question, but starting a conversation about it on a tech forum is pretty odd..

My take:

The synapses in your brain do not begin to form, allowing capability of memories to form, until you're 2-3 years old, though typically people don't remember their childhoods earlier than 4-5 years old. Thus, your "consciousness" doesn't begin until then. What I've come to believe, is that when you die, your "consciousness" ends, and you essentially "wake up" in a new life. Not a rebirth, not moving your soul. Nothing like that. Rather, more.. scientific. You're unable to be consciously aware of being unconscious. (You can't know you're sleeping.) Due to this, I have concluded that logically, if this were to remain true, your consciousness would always "be." You'd simply wake up at some point in life as somebody else, with entirely new memories, feelings, so-on-and-so-forth.

These thoughts have actually gotten me to the point of not fearing death anymore.

So when I die, I would wake in a world made by my subconsciousness. I would think it's reality and the world will be the same/change/be randomness after I go to sleep and wake up in it

Let me try put my take on this. Basically a scientific approach to reincarnation. It is stated that energy can not be destroyed it can only be transformed. We as humans are energy, we are made up of protons electrons and neutrons, the basic building blocks of energy. So when we die, where does the energy go, I do not know, but the most logical choice for me is into another bunch of younger cells, as energy likes to have an optimal setting.

Anyway, don't draw your pitchforks, I don't condone Scientology or whatever I will inevitably be stereotyped to. I am quite atheist actually, just have strange beliefs!

Anyway, have a great day!

Would just like to clarify that Scientilogy isn't religion based around science versus the bible or something. E.G: Neil deGrasse Tyson is an atheist who approaches life and death scientifically. he's not a Scientologist. ._.

A bunch of younger cells hmm... Which cells? Would I latch onto the nearest living thing? Or would I become one with the ground ;D

Then other planets still exist. We are NOTHING in the grand scheme of things
