When people used to talk about "building a PC" I though you had to solder everything lol.

That was back in the early 2000's, but I was a small idiot in those days when it came to PC stuff.

Hell, I think I still have some old magazines that talk about how to install a CD burner.

The stars died for you to be here today.

A locked bathroom in the right place can make all the difference in the world.

Before I knew anything, I believed that copying a shortcut of a game or a program, copied the whole thing.

When I was 12 and used to play Minecraft (I'm 16 now) I used to think that the way you improve graphics was by adding more RAM to your system. So I did that and added more RAM to our family computer for Minecraft, and hey, watya know! I was kind of right since that computer was using onboard CPU graphics instead of a dedicated card, so I saw an increase (or at least I though, maybe my 12 year old  mind just thought it was better)

 

Also I thought that lagg was the word used for a low framerate.

I remember thinking that the more I paid for something the better it was. So I'd buy the highest priced parts I could afford.

When I was young (under 10) I was convinced that the Monitor is the pc.....and the fat box under the table must be the powersupply :D.

Why did the console player cross the road?......To render the building on the other side.

I think lag is the term for bad internet. (At least in the consoles.)

I thought the "switches" on the CPU were actual tiny switches then went back and forth. That was years and years ago though

I thought that dual core meant you had 2 processors in 1, so 1 dual core 4GHz processor would be like having a single core 8GHz processor. And quad core... you get the point. In my defense that was 10 years ago.

I think lag is the term for bad internet. (At least in the consoles.)

Everybody in my family talked to the monitor if there was a problem with a program:) I was young and Innocent.

There was a point in time where I believed RAM was EVERYTHING

More RAM = ability to run any application/game etc

 

Fortunately this was ten+ years ago

A relative would tell me that money was dispensed from the 8-inch floppy disk drive bay on our old Macintosh PC. I soon figured out that this was not the case, much to my disappointment.

I used to think (before I ever opened a side panel) that computers were completely mechanical and worked by series of moving parts and I thought there was even a tiny generator in the power supply.

I tried to download more RAM for Minecraft when I was 8....
