5 most overpriced product in your opinion?

IamNewie

Alienware desktops:

A Core i7 with 6GB RAM (WTF??) along a GTX 660 and all the subpar peripherals you could ask for (their keyboard sucks hard in my opinion) for $2550 dlls (converted from MX),

Some alienware brochure was tied on my newspaper. If not wrong, some $2000+ laptop doesn't have SSD in them.

asus products because let's be fair people, their "after market coolers" are allways the same.
actually most big name brands, because they just push their prices up because of their name
apple (absurd, i mean just put together a realistic desktop on the apple website and compair it to a windows setup with same products)
and so on...

1. Apple, only reason I can see that someone would get an iPhone is if they are old and or dont know how to use the amazing features provided by Android,

2. Beats, only thing going for them is the looks, nuff said.

3. Intel, I think they found out that there chips were pretty good when AMD were off the rails and just bumped the price up

4. Intel based motherboards, compared to the quality of a cheap motherboard for AMD cpu's they make Intel motherboards look like a ripoff.

5. Corsair Dominator ram, feel like there doing a bit of an Apple move, makes them look nice and charges more.

Petrol, it's about 90% tax. Either that or car insurance.

true that about the car insurance it'll cost me over 3 grand to insure a 1 grand car, so i need to write it off 3 times a year to make it worth it. or crash into a Bentley

Or you can have a teen smash your window, then realize the insurance company will only pay you 600 to replace your car :p

Anyways my choices

1: Certain apple products

2: Most 4k monitors

3: Cable prices (to get my top 10 channels it costs over 100)

4: Internet prices ($70 for 50 mbps, 400 gb usage)

5: Microsoft Driver Signing....this is frustrating, MS in their great wisdom blocks unsigned drivers without doing workarounds and then charges something like $500 a year to have them signed

Seasonic make some of the best PSU, why have you placed it in your list of overrated brands?

overpriced not over rated ;) that is because although they are very very good there are other brands like xfx which use the same internals and they are much cheaper.

i don't know but if there was one they would be overpriced and cost twice as much as the card. if you can find one i will buy it though, even if it is overpriced. just for lols :P

i don't agree with corsair fans, i'm pretty happy about them, if any fans are overrated it's noctua, because those are really ugly and they are more costly then the corsairs ones, perform better or not, they should do something about the look.

Ohh good point :) they are a little pricy but I'm certainly considering Seasonic or any other PSU brand that use Seasonic internals for my current or next build.

i think they are bad in terms of noise/airflow/price they are not as quiet as the scythe gentle typhoons and they don't move as much air. i have to say that they do look nice though.
