We named our dog 'Chilli' it made sense at the time, really we should've called her Koko or Red Dog, since people keep calling her that, since she resembled the dog from the movie Red Dog.

She is a Kelpie cross Border Collie. But she kept most of her mothers kelpie traits apart from size she's probably a good 1.5x her mums size lol.

A Móc ... Pretty much how you pronounce it ... ( Southern )

the sign above the O , you have to say it with high tone ... 

There's another version A Còng ( Northern )

This time you have to say it with a deep tone ... 

 

Both ways describe the same thing ( @ ) but different parts of our country will say it differently ... But we like to go with the first one because It's simplier to speak quickly with it ...

I love when dogs have very "gown up" sounding names. Always make me laugh. Names like Frank, George, Bill, Robert etc. Only works for male dogs though, well... male names anway.

 

The cats get the silly names. Pickles, Missy Moo and Lu Lu (aka Loopy Lu) are all cats we've had.
