$1500 Dollar PC Build

How's this look instead? http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/LRd4vK

Changed a bit. Can you look it over. I changed the PSU to a higher wattage just for the semi-modular bit.

The case is cheaper and keeps the ATX look.

The MOBO is also still ATX.

The monitor and keyboard are a saviour. Thanks a ton!

I just need that seal of approval on the changes I made and I'll be on my merry way!

Thanks!

Why atx? The 200R is quite a bit worse than the Arc Mini R2.

He really wants a big case, 'cause the dude is like 6'3'' and does't want to reach down so far every time he does something. His logic. But I also like ATX. It is also cheaper. There is also the Rosewill R5 which is a bit more expensive, but I think a bit more better.

Reaching down shouldn't be an issue considering the front i/o is at the top of the case. Getting a mid tower won't change that much.

The R5 is still worse than the Arc Mini R2--there aren't that many cases that are as good.

Well, what are you going to do? The guy wants something big (wow, didn't notice that coming (SH*T)). Anyway, I'm gonna need to know which one out of the two you would recommend.

Is that all? Is there any more problems? Or just the cases?

If that is, thanks for your help, as you did help quite a bit.

Thanks!

I'm not forcing any decision upon you or your friend. I'm just giving advice and trying to help you out where I can.

The case and motherboard were the main issue. The motherboard I recommended matches the blue ram but that's not that big of a deal.

If your friend wants a larger case, I'd suggest to at least look at better cases like the Silent Base 800: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/be-quiet-case-bg003

I would change the ssd to the mx100 from crucial, the m500 is not really the nest ssd. The mx100 is similar in price, but better in performance. You could also try the bx100 from crucial.
