people says extreme CPUs is waste?

The new UD4H is pretty good looking. Red and chrome, has features. I wouldn't call it cheap.

i was thinking about this system:

still thinking about it:

Case: CoolerMaster HAF X

motherboard: ASUS RAMPAGE IV FORMULA

CPU: intel core i7 3930 k

SSD: Kingston SSDNow V300 120GB

GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX780 3GB

Power supply: Corsair Professional Series HX1050 W

RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro DDR3 1600MHz 16GB

CPU cooler: Corsair Hydro H100i

case fan: CoolerMaster Mega flow red

Do yourself a favour and don't get a HAF X. Cable routing is almost non-existent and the build quality is pretty dire.

hmm...

what mobo shoud i get for 4770k?

i mean a good looking mobo.

i dont care of the cheap ugly mobos

any z87 mobo that works. the damn VRM is in the cpu. do not spend 500$ on it because of the looks.

look at the msi msi z87-gd65 ,gaming mobo with good audio. or just for the looks the msi z87 mpower. but don`t spend 500$ on a mobo.

Size is the only thing it has going for it. The HAF X was a decent case when it was released three years ago, but since then many cases have been released that are so much better.

well i had my 2600 in 3 years now.. and its still not slow. i will give this cpu to my brother later..

omfg ... save you some money, just keep that i7, buy a new GPU and a SSD ...

----

just to be clear ... you most probably won't notice any difference between an i7 2600 and an i7 4770 in daily use.

Broadwell-D(The desktop version) is expected to be released on the 1150 socket. I'm starting to lose faith in Intel and while it would be cool for there to be more cores, I think you will still have to wait for Broadwell-E to see more cores as they are still focusing on shrinking the die rather than adding much more performance

Broadwell-D= 6 cores

Broadwell-e= 8 cores?

Only Intel knows ...

But Broadwell-E most probably won't come before 2015 (if it comes).

First Hawell-E would come aprox. late 2014.

2013 is the year of 6-core Ivy Bridge-E ;)

No one really knows anything about Broadwell, there is no news on Skylake's socket as far as I'm aware. There will be a desktop CPU and it it expected to still using LGA(will be removable and not soldered onto the board)
