Let the waiting game begin ! If the price is around 800-1000 euros and I get a good deal on any local retailers I might go for it instead of the acer xb280hk , you get almost the same pixels but ips panel curved ultrawide and 144hz (if you have the horsepower required) Man (mmo)rpg games are going to be awsome !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Imagine witcher 3 on this beauty !!! OMFG

Great man, thanks.

Well we didn't have to wait because I got the suspected price from OCUK:

They are IPS, 3440x1440 and there will be a Freesync version around £899 and a G-Sync version around £999

If I remember right our container is due around end of July, I will put them on the website in coming days for pre-order as I know UK will be getting less than 500 of each so sure to sell out.

The 35" versions also coming can't remember if I mentioned these but these shall be VA panel variants

.

So $1461.69 (£999) for G-Sync and $1315.37 (£899) for FreeSync

I imagine it will be lower than that because UK prices are always inflated.

whoa whoa whoa....

There are slithly bigger? VA 1440p? 144hz versions coming too?

If thats true then:

Lucifer fucking Christ...  and just when i thought there cant be anything better than the acer xr341ck... they announce a 3000:1 contrast ratio ones coming (instead of the usual 1000:1) ... holy shit.

Just wondering, whos rig is actually capable of running 3440x1440 at 144Hz.. Call me crazy but if they can make a 60Hz ips g-sync panel with that res, i'll be more than satisfied..

Well I'm in EU so I'm expecting huge price tag as well. I'll stick with my 1080p monitors for awhile. :D

Huh, i'd consider this...

It's just SOOO much money though...

It'll probably never be that low, unless ultrawides become mainstream.

Specs: 4790k | Asus Z-97 Pro Wifi | MX100 512GB SSD | NZXT H440 Plastidipped Black | Dark Rock 3 CPU Cooler | MSI 290x Lightning | EVGA 850 G2 | 3x Noctua Industrial NF-F12's

Bought a powermac G5, expect a mod log sometime in 2015

Corsair is overrated, and Anime is ruined by the people who watch it

Ugh if 1650€ seems to be the release price it will be awful.

Tho if I went for it ... What would I need to use correctly the 144 variable refresh rate? A gtx 980 for games like LoL, a titan X for more demanding ones?

Also, for crazy people or when price will be lower :
Surround xr341 would require like 4 way sli titan X? Do g-sync even work in surround :D

CPU : i5 4570 MB : MSI Z87-G41 PC Mate (MS-7850) RAM : Kingston 4x4 1600 GPU : Radeon HD 6670 SSD : samsung 840 PRO PSU : Corsair CX500

Once you actually use a 21:9, u`ll get that it replaces any cravings of surround.

For now, but what in the future? :P

TBH I kinda like the idea of a 21:9 surround (so technically a 27:21 :P) to play farther away, while being able to multi seat this in three screens / one computer when gf/broes are at home.
