The USA's most popular OS and browser

jackwynne

I would prefer that it was number 1 on the list.

Our species is so very doomed.

Chances are we'll both be dead by the time that happens so it really doesn't matter much.

Living forever would be kinda terrible. Look at the pattern of the past, WW1? WW2? It's said that history repeats itself and I wouldn't wouldn't want to be alive for something like that.

I wasn't aware that the government operated porn sites...

However, I am aware that people don't actually read anything other than the title...

FINE. You got me - I don't know how to read, okay? Are you happy? ARE YOU HAPPY?!?!

Whoops.

Here's a hint: take a look at the windows versions: 41.6% on 7 that means close to half the people are still using a desktop from 2009 meaning it's mostly just people on tight income that get the cheapest emachines or gateway desktop they could at like 200 bucks back in those times.

Yea I'm on windows 7 right now and yet I'm typing this from a $1000 monitor and a $1500 computer. Plenty of people can't be bothered to upgrade up because for them, they want the reliability of a 6 year proven os

Finally my Santa hat doesn't look out of place

More  Windows 7 users than 8? Surprised.

curious to know why that is surprising. Most people use whatever os came on their computer when they bought it, so there are probably still more xp users than windows 7 even though support has stopped,

I just assumed that with how Win8 is regarded and how many I see using it that it would have taken Win7's spot.

A lot of people just don't like Windows 8....

Or Windows 7 is vastly superior to windows 8.

Even my mom had windows 8 and asked me to replace it with windows 7 because quote: it's stupid.

Yea, nothing here surprised me really, like at all xD I will say though, the windows numbers are just slightly larger than I anticipated. Figured with all the hipster college students going for macbooks that they would make a little more than a meagre ~6.3% of operating systems.

I have a self built computer with GTX 980, i7 4790k and I run windows 7 simply because 8 is retarded to work on.

why OS Is being matter?

vista/7/8 had almost same kernel

the only make it different is the UI and ofcourse support

if you are fine with 7 so be it, if you like 8 then use it.

I don't think using windows 7 has shit to do with income considering how hated 8 and 8.1 are most people regardless of income stuck with 7 lol
