I gave up completely, tried to give her time to let her figure out things on her own. 

My only idea is for someone to just understand not accept or approve just have an understanding of why.

The thing is, that's like saying you only want her to understand the logic of the truth that there is no God fully and without question but that you're not asking her to believe it. By extension you're basically asking her to admit that her beliefs (upon which her entire personality and intellectual sense of self are probably dependent), are completely unfounded and uncredible.

I just want to be understood at this point, I feel like no one understands. Its almost like I'm alone in this, well at least that's how I feel.
