Actually I didn't even get it if it was meant to be a joke.

It was a joke about the massive popularity of the Isekai genre in anime and light novels.

Jeebus. I guess I'll get a consultation to see what's best for my skin type.

Microdermabrasion has its benefits though like refined pore size, lightens shallow acne scars and it simply makes the skin very smooth and no apricot scrub can come close. Some women who gave birth use it to reduce the appearance of stretch marks.

I know that part. Was only reading about the benefits beforehand. ?

Facials are awesome especially the comedone extraction part which I find relaxing. Maybe I should schedule one too though in my experience, microdermabrasion can make you photo/heat sensitive because it's actual fine sand blasted to the skin by pressurized air.

Sunscreen is a thing too. ;)

Yeah, I already apply 70SPF sunscreen everyday. I ain't taking any chances since my skin is pale.

I shave my legs during a hot shower and then apply moisturizer. Works most of the time.

I wonder if choice of razors makes an impact as well. I typically just use a guy's razor, with a different cartridge. Though I can't seem to avoid getting cuts all over above the knee.

The Venus razors I use have a "lubrastip" which help prevent cuts.

Thank you, I will definitely have to give those try.

I did once give epilation a try too. In the event that I ever need to interrogate someone, it would be a very effective tool.

Usually exfoliating while taking a warm bath reduces red bumps. I don't really shave my legs so I don't know.

Tbh I didn't know what that was so I googled it. I super-cringed from reading the first couple sentences. That's just asking for ingrown hairs. ??

While it left bumps for a few days in the patch I tested, it remained smooth for about two weeks before hair started to reappear. Lots of ouchie, but really good, fairly long lasting results.

I have to agree with the cliché saying: beauty is pain. Especially when I get my eyebrows done. Hurts like a 'lil biatch.

When I shave my legs, I end up with ingrown hairs everywhere, and hurts for like 2 weeks after, and the redness goes away after about 3 months.

I don't shave anymore, too much hurt, and it just ends up looking worse.

Disinfected blunt razor, lots of foam and moisturize.

Sharp ones that nick / cut the skin, or unclean ones increase spots.

Or electric razor, but those don't give a close enough shave if you don't want any stubble left.

For men, body hair is better anyway. For ladies nope.

I am tempted to post the 7 Things - Miley Cyrus spoof song by VenetianPrincess on here, but I refuse. Look it up at your own peril but it pretty much sums up the shortcomings of beauty maintenance. ?

Since we're on the topic of beauty.

*Does not apply to Drak3. I'm always beautiful.

Come Bloody Angel

Break off your chains

And look what I've found in the dirt.

Pale battered body

Seems she was struggling

Something is wrong with this world.

Fierce Bloody Angel

The blood is on your hands

Why did you come to this world?

Everybody turns to dust.

Everybody turns to dust.

The blood is on your hands.

The blood is on your hands!

Pyo.

Yesterday, my BF asked if I thought he'd still look cute if he went bald. I don't understand why he decided it would be best if he annouced to me that he might have a balding problem in the distant future, but I thought it was pretty funny and cute.

I honestly don't know what I'll look like in 6 months time, nor have I really thought about it, but he is imagining what he'll look like in over a decade's time.

Now it's time for me to think about my current body issues, like how am I going to get down to 58kg (I think I'm currently 62kg, but I haven't used a set of scales in 4 months or so), and how I am going to get rid of all that body hair that I absolutely hate.
