almost no one tolerates same sex marriage. it's unfair and completely stupid that two people who are in love with each other can't get married because they are the same sex, the problem is people who don't like gay people and want to stop them from being happy (pun not intended).

Unfortunately neither sides of the fence are very logical. One side takes it wayyyy too far in terms of support (the left) and the other being incredibly terrible as well (the right). I mean personally I just want tolerance, I don't need overwhelming support but you know at least in the case of the US the right recognizing the SCOTUS ruling and the freedom of expression and what not. I also don't wear it like a billboard or advertisement since frankly I think that's not relevant outside of situations where it may be appropriate.

How often do some of the people here floor the gas pedal?  Up on the hills here, I regularly have my foot pretty deep in the gas, even in lower gears. Hitting the floor certainly isn't uncommon.

I tried applying for a study grant once in NZ for Master's degree but it didn't went well. I might as well try again in a few years.
