should OP have the power to delete a post? not in a abusive power way but lets say i find a post offensive or spam or something. i click on a little button that says delete post, and you guys can vote on whether or not we can delete it. i just think it would be a good idea to relieve some stress off the mods of our fine community. 

Space Journal #1: So Apparently i  was dropped on the moon like i'm a mars rover, in a matter of hours i have found the transformers on the dark side of the moon. Turns out its not that dark since dem robots are filled with lights, i waved hi to the Russians on the space station, turns out all those stories about space finding humans instead of the other way around is true(soviet Russia joke). They threw me some Heineken beer and I've been sitting staring at the people of this forum and earth since.

No because that gives OP the power of censorship for things they (and probably their friends) don't like.

 

For example we had a thread earlier where someone asked a question then wasn't agreeing with the answers and it turned into an argument, OP now has the ability to censor those who didn't agree with his mindset.

You hit 'REPORT' and then make a stupid message to the mods and they take care of it.

it doesn, but its also in a vote. OP has the power to initiate it, but doesnt have the power to officially censor someone.  kinda like kicking someone out of a CSGO game.

Which is horrible if your playing with idiots who if you don't listen to them will tell you your aren't being cooperative and get kicked out, happened to me once when I was silver 1.

well there is a down side to everything, that never happened to me though. my original idea was that the OP holds the power, then realized that its way too over powering and thought a voting system would be a good source of checks and balances.

i have yet to report anything other than the ass holes who post random "sports" spam.
