Can someone check my bios and see if I have any low voltages, once and a while when my voltage changes I freeze up for a couple seconds like i'm not getting enough voltage, I am copying the 1.26v bios but my voltages on my card were a tad different. Please and thank you for whoever can check them and get back to me.

Well I've been playing HL2 Episode 1 for about 4 hours at 1080p highest settings and the game crashed. I looked at the event log and this happened:
post-155575-0-97132100-1434185864_thumb.

I swear I'd be better off going back to 1024x768 and just use my 2GB GTX 650 ti (at that res it can smoothly play Crysis 3 at Ultra). At least the card actually works no matter what I throw at it. Anyway, are there any software fixes I could look at, because otherwise its back to low res gaming and my 970 can just be a folding card (I've put up with low res gaming for over 10 years so its not too big a deal-but all of the jaggies is irritating after playing 1080p 8x MSAA).

Thanks looks a lot better, but can u share some of your knowledge, how did you get those values in there. The bios tweaker wouldn't let me change them :/

347.52, all of the newer ones cause problems when I use both cards in my computer.

Just get a g1 970 they overclock eZ mode. got 1550 and my temps barely get to the 70s.

What do you guys think is to much voltage for the 970 though?? Should I up my voltage to 1.275? I want my card to last a while too last why I ask, I assume 1.262 will last a while.

TDR can be caused by a bunch of things. Nvidia is really driving everyone crazy with these new drivers. Well 347,52 is the most stable of the last ones i guess. Having a TDR once in a while doesnt seem to be a huge Problem. Its kind of shitty but it can happen.

I think Strix Cards aren't made to OC at all, they say it but thats only advertisement.... They are Made to be more silent. But other than that you can be lucky and get a card which can Overclock High, every single Card is different.

Its not once in a while though, I can't game for too long without a driver crash. And this afternoon was the first time since I re-installed where I haven't been folding and I've managed to trip the problem.

The G1 cards really go ham once you hit 1.3v, it'll last forever @ 1.3v.

It's all dependant on your cooling, if you have good airflow 1.3v should be ez.

PEWDIEPIE DONT CROSS THAT BRIDGE

The mod doesnt work, or the Card doesnt work? Have you set your fan curve via Afterburner? Keep in mind that you will have to do this to make the nofan mod work. (like its descripted in the first page).

Mod doesn`t work and yes I have set fan curve.

New to NV-OC'ing but my G1 Gaming does Stock boost @ 1404Mhz

Max stable OC with +0.25mv voltage added is 1550Mhz, and more voltage is needed for higher, which there is no need as once it gets to 1175Mhz+ it becomes voltage limited anyway...regardless of using +0.87mv max voltage or +0.25mv, its not worth using that much more for such little extra gain.

1550Mhz is enough (until a new bios is put on, I'm currently limited to 1.25v)

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

Edit: Oops Dblpostings

So I've been an AMD guy for 10 years, have flashed a few of them..

Just got my G1 Gaming 970, I'm limited by voltage, I can push 1550 Stable easy in everything, and in some games, 1575Mhz stable, with 1900Mhz ish on the Hynix Memory.

This dualbios card, does not have a switch that I am used to seeing,.. It was late, I gave up reading..

Keen again, came onto this thread,.. I have NVflash and a backup of my current bios, and now this 1.3v bios, but if it fails,.. how would I then switch to the other bios (outputting video signals) to fix it..?

You dont use a bios from someone else... You use YOUR bios and edit the values via MBT. There is no switch to change your Bios it is bind to the Video Outputs. (i think left side and right side of the I/O)

wow, thats strange stuff. Do you have rev 1.0 or 1.1?

Rev 1.0 .

i googled alot.. i know rev 1.1 have a different fan controller.. but i have rev 1.1 and it works good. before i had 1.0 and also worked. Could it be that your shunt mod does something to the fan controller? if not. Maybe your theory about bios checksum might be true for 1.0 cards. Hard to find the error. But im sure PER13 is unchanged by the normal nofan mod. im aware you could damage your card by setting per13 to 0 because its the highest temperature instance mode... so If your card gets to the hottest performance cap it will turn off the fans at a certain temperature if you set this to 0.

Well anyway I`m not fussed about this. I just wanted to try it out, not use it daily, but thanks for trying to help.

Actually you're limited to 1.262, it's just software doesn't read it past 1.25.

Should I water cool my G1 gaming? Or focus on my GTX 650 Ti Windforce X2 (rev 2.0-the good version)? I've got around 40W of headroom to play with if I work on the 650ti, and my 970 might run better under water or even get a stable OC-but its temps are always fine.

I would rather spend the money to just get a second card.

I'm running my MSI Gaming 4G version at 1496Mhz at the moment, I don't know if I can go any further, I'll do more testing and come back

UPDATE : I got it to 1506 Mhz (Screenshot : http://gyazo.com/c2581c176865b9991f0c7cd56bcc57ba

UPDATE #2 : I got the memory to 2000 Mhz (Screenshot : http://gyazo.com/afbccf34ef9d57a9f13fa559ba92d5c7 )

I think I'm going to stick with these clocks.

Early 2020 Build : Intel i7 8700k // MSI Krait Z370 // Corsair LPX 8x2 16GB // Aorus 5700 XT // NZXT H500

Early 2019 Build : Ryzen 2600X // Asus Tuff X470 // G.Skill Trident Z RGB 8x2 16GB // MSI RTX 2070 // NZXT H500

Late 2017 Build : Intel i7 8700k // Asus Prime Z370-A // G.Skill Trident Z 8x2 16GB // EVGA GTX 1080 Ti  // NZXT S320 Elite

Late 2015 Build : Intel i7 6700k // Asus Maximus VI Gene Z170 //  Corsair LPX 8x2 16GB // Gigabyte GTX 970 // Corsair Air 240
