Currently looking for capture solutions for a future gaming setup. However with the large array of devices and options I curious of what the community has had the Best experiences and success with. Looking for either a external or internal capture device.

Another one for PC, Open Broadcaster Software(OBS). It's free unlike XSplit and works quite well for me.

 

For console you can use;

1. AVerMedia Live Gamer Portable

2. AVermdia Live Gamer HD

3. Elgato HD60

4. Hauppauge has lots of different products

 

Just a note, if you're on console and one of the above products does not come with streaming software you can use XSplit and/or OBS to do the streaming and have the product be a pass-through to your computer so XSplit and/or OBS can capture the pass-through to stream to Twitch.
