turn Anti-Aliasing off then change SSAO to high.

@ti1m AMD cards have a power limit defaulted to 0,. this is not ensuring 100% performance,...use +20 up to +50, so they will not declock as fast or as low.

This does not OC or add voltage at all, just lets the card use all of its available power and does not declock in stressful power hungry operations.

You can set this in MSI Afterburner or Catalyst control panel, whichever you use as your primary tool.

 

Set Power Limit +20, open GPUZ and run WOW, check GPU clocks in GPUZ, they shouldn't declock as much hopefully not at all.

Have i done corectly?

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

50+ doesn't hurt your GPU in any way, give it a try.

happens to all games i play but when i was testing on ets2 it was alot smoother gameplay.

When I play SWTOR on ultra I get the same think with my 970 and 4690k. Running around it hovers at about 56fps, soon as I get on my speeder, drops to 29-30fps for no reason at all.

 

Even though my GPU usage is below 90%

Ketchup is better than mustard.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

Dubs are better than subs

Well for some reason i found out when new driver came out for amd all problems were solved now my gpu works perfectly normal.

 

I gues it was a driver problem...

My 7970 would get 60-80 fps. Ultra 1080p.ur CPU must be weak.

That 49°C would be at idle, it's very high, my guess is thermal throttling, what are your temps while gaming ?

WOW is a game that relies heavily on CPU power. I have a system similar to yours and my FPS never dip below 60 on ultra settings in WOW. Check to see if you don't have any programs running in the background that is bogging you down. Perhaps run a few malware/virus scans? Internet connection may be an issue as well.

ssd's have NO impact on framerate. they speed up load times significantly but 0 framerate bonus.

i am idling at 43 degress. Gaming is up to 77 depends on game. after like 10h+ of wow iven went to 95

my cpu is max 12% on wow. and it idels on 38 degress when gaming. (noctua NDH 15)
