    Good Afternoon Everyone! I am having an issue with a 2tb HDD i am trying to put it in an older pc and it wont seem to start with it being plugged in even with a boot drive plugged in. (i have a bootable flash drive ready to put windows 10 on it) I plug it into my laptop via sata w/ power to usb to see if i could format it but it says there is no media and i can not intialize the disk either. the option isnt there. and i tried using the cmd to create a partition in it but it says there is no volume to partition. Any ideas on what to do next?

    So i can see it in disk management i can not see it in the partition tool on Hiren. I am using a dell inspiron 15 i5 8gb ram 250gb storage windows 10 to format the drive, then i am trying to put the hard drive into a desktop that is a lenovo with 8gb ram (hopefully windows 10) E2-3200 cpu

    And I could use an Antivirus software to see in that 0.01% cases if it is on the motherboard?

    Hey guys, I was wondering what the risk was buying a used computer since you never know what people are clicking on these days. If i got a computer that has malware or Spectre/Meltdown on its CPU? How would i know and then how would i get rid of it? Is it worth buying it used to save money?

    I bought I laptop 2 years ago and ready to upgrade. It isn't flashy in the slightest and I find the most annoying thing is that youtube gets stuck loading frequently, I have 150mbs internet so I don't think that is the issue, since I will be getting a new laptop what specs should I be looking at so that doesn't happen or at the very least, it happens less often.
