What should I eat? (I do not want to be fat)

upliftsleet1974

Naaah utter nonsense.

Just eat right. (controlled portions)

Not being fat isn't that hard, being fit is something else.

It depends on the person's metabolism. I know a lot of people who don't eat anything unhealthy or heavy but still get fat. I also know others (namely myself) who can eat whatever and still not gain a gram.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

It is the same, but you just won't get the required nutritients you need every day, there lies the difference, But if you eat 2000 kcal from only fruits or candy you will not get fat because it still is at the limit. You will only feel worse every day, that is true.

Not exactly true. In fruits you have natural sugars and water (and some other stuff), but in candy you also have fats, emulgators, processed sugar.... All in all, your body will get less energy from candy than from fruits.

99.9% of people who say their metabolism is slow and therefore are fat are actually lying or not aware of how much they eat.

Really, they eat too much and that is coming from me (a fat person), but I reduced my intake and am losing weight gradually.

Yes, but of the kcal limit is held to then there is not problem in getting fat :P

It isn't healthy though.

No, you basically get less energy, and you do get a little bit fatter with it (processed sugar is really unhealthy (and i'm saying that while chucking my mouth full with candies made 90%~ from it...)...), and after some time your body seriously goes off the track...

But find me a human being that can eat without getting tired of it and wanting to eat pizza, burgers, sausages... That kind of being does not exist!

I get that it is unhealthy but not to that much of an effect?

Anyway, fatty meals are amazing. Like sausage and hamburgers.

It seems a lot of you are misunderstanding how food works.

Eating fat food alone, or sugary food alone, will not make you fat.

It is the mixture, the types of fat, and especially the biggest aspect: Mixing fat and sugar - that will cause problems.

BBC had a great documentary that also included two twins trying out different diets (one only fat, the other only sugar) as part of explaining things.

As for what to eat, I suggest not mixing fat and sugar unless the sugar is from fruits and similar. Avocado salad?

If it moves, shoot it. If it doesn't move, shoot it anyway.

In reality you can eat anything you want if you keep to your kcal limit.

Cutting carbs or sugar is nonsense imo.

not true. if you cut sugar, you can eat all the calories you want. start looking at fat people and what they eat youll be able to identify a common ingrediant in every thing they eat. it will be carbs, aka breads, and sugar.

No, I find the entire cutting out carbs thing to be absolute nonsense. It does hold water on some points but carb-free diets are a fad imo.

I don't hate, I do non-believe.

I am losing weight too, 3 pounds so far and it has been a month. Just by having my intake at 2000-2100 kcal.
