Rumor has it that the new flagship will be named the R9 380X, not 390X and the hope is for a release at the end of Q2 2015.

the 380x isn't the flagship or a new card. its most likely to be a slightly faster 290x. the 390x has already had some specs leaked as well as apparent pictures of its water cooled cooler.

It's most likely that the 380X (and 380) will just be the equivalent of the 200 series, then there will be the 390(X) as a new GPU chip, like with the 200 series.

This^. Rumors say that the r9 380(x) are going to be rebrands of the 290(x). While the r9 370(x) will use tonga.

I can't wait I've got the money sat waiting in my account to buy one! if they don't hurry up I'll be too tempted to buy a new cpu and mobo and a nice 500gb pci ssd.. then it's back to saving for a 390x again!

They're not. The only fully rebranded core will be Hawaii, which is only one generation old. The rest is Fiji XT (new) and Tonga/Tonga XT (semi-new). I doubt they're going to be re-using Tahiti this time.

So will the rebrands use a new manufacturing process or still 28nm?

Rebrands will remain on the same node, we'll see whether Fiji will be 28nm or not.

That is just rude. Keep in mind that the only thing we have only really heard rumors about the cards that are not out yet.

Nobody knows at this point when AMD or nVidia will make their next moves with the next highend cards. The only thing that´s likely is that as soon as one of them makes a move the other will bring a counter card very soon to the table. Could be interesting for gamers in Q2 this year.

Intel i7 7820X (delidded) @ 4.9GHz - MSI X299 M7 ACK + EKWB Fullcover Block - G.Skill Trident Z 32GB @ 3466MHz - nVidia Titan Xp + EKWB Fullcover Block @ 2.1GHz - Samsung 960Pro 2x - WDD Blue 2TB - Seasonic 750W Platinum - modded Corsair 600C - Hardtubed Custom Watercooling

So only the 390(x) cards will use a new manufacturing process? So generally they will be the ones who will be a less power consuming card :/

Sure, but I´d prefer not see another person uses the same icon within the forum, kind of boring.
