Can I run GTA 5 at high settings?

Hi everyone, 

 

My computer spec:

i5 4670 

MSI GTX 760 2GB

8GB RAM

 

Do you think I will be able to run GTA 5 at high settings with reasonable FPS (50-60)?

The game is not out yet, so we don't know.

With that 760 I will say... Possibly.. Probably.. At High settings and no or barely any AA.. (<- this is speculation, please don't take this as a fact)

The recommended system requirements:

 

 

  • OS: Windows 8.1 64 Bit, Windows 8 64 Bit, Windows 7 64 Bit Service Pack 1 
    • Processor: Intel Core i5 3470 @ 3.2GHz (4 CPUs) / AMD X8 FX-8350 @ 4GHz (8 CPUs) 
    • Memory: 8 GB RAM 
    • Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 660 2GB / AMD HD 7870 2GB 

 

So it looks like you might

We dunno. The hardware requirements are not out yet.

Yes they are, but that doesn't matter. Game isn't out yet so we don't know.

Should be fine.

It would be crazy needing something above a 760 for high or near high settings on a game like gta v

Nvidia is to Dr Dre Beets as AMD is to KFC.

One makes you broke, the other you can get more of and have a midnight snack from the fridge when hungry again. Once you go Nvidia, you go broked, turn into an Elitist, or get the incorrect amount of VRAM.

Just checked steam's site, the recommended GPU is HD 7870 or GTX 660 and i5 3470 for CPU and 8GB RAM. I think you're fine.

yes max payne3 was rockstars best port i think, if gta v happens to be the same you can max out the game for sure.

If one does not fail at times, then one has not challenged himself.
