well.... sketch 'it' up !!!!

omg just look what i've did right there!!! :P

I would like to give you a "pun"ch for that bad joke. :P

I like the black hex screw idea, but I have to admit that the outside window is one of the

few things I don't appreciate about Silverstone's TJ11. IMHO things look cleaner when the

plexi is on the inside of the panel (with the cleanest version being a window that's completely

flush with the panel, but I don't think that's really realistic without a proper router).

Of course this is just a matter of taste. I'd say do it the way you like it best. Maybe

you can even try it out both ways and see which one you like better?

EDIT: I like the shape though :)

Thanks for the input again mate. Much respect!

I agree with alpenwasser. Best kind of windowed side panel is just like Fractal Design does them - nice shape, unveiling only what's important, and plexi flush with the panel, without visible mounting.

Your shape idea is not really my taste, and as you got really nothing to hide, I would go with something like in G5ive.

I wish I had a router. This was my first thought when I designed this window. Nothing is impossible though ;)

The window definitely matches the rest of the design you went for, DO IT! :P

Cheers Nick!

Sick Build!

Thanks man. Welcome!

yeah want to swap ;)

Well, when can we make a deal?

This build is BAWLING! Cya in the BOTW :D

Thanks Snow. My name hasn't appeared there yet, and I don't know how it works to get nominated..

Well with all this said, I have a small....

Sorry for the offtopic, but Bluejay please don't quote photos just after they've been posted. It makes scrolling through the page annoying.

On the backplate - good job. I thought the bended covering part will be closer to the card itself, but you have to put your lighting there so.. I'll wait for finished version!

The space does look a little wide right now, but when it is filled with LED and plexi goodness, the gap will be nothing ;)

Thank you so much Titan and lookout. I wouldn't know about the best build as there are many modders and builds that I look up too, which I think are much more advanced than that I am doing with this build today. But I appreciate your comments infinitely as it does give me more motivation to aspire to a higher level of detail, craftsmanship, and ingenuity!

I would do this myself, I have the time. No money though! I am building a new pc and my budget is 750, if I want to go any higher I have to sell some stuff. Once again though, 500/5 stars ;)

Thank you!

Thanks dude! BTW, how does one pronounce your name? :P

Well, all the materials were left over stuff from work, so it cost me nothing :D I would recommend designing some things in sketchup and start a log using those plans.. Hopefully you'll land a sponsor if your work is good enough.

This is an amazing build my friend, you must be an engineer or something to be able to do all this, very talented and impressive.

Thanks Asus. I am no engineer, but instead, I am a light setter for museums. I have just have OCD, and try to thoroughly think out my plans :)

I would love to finish your build. It feels like I have almost reached the limit to what I want to do with this build, so if I can continue with something else, that would be great!

cant wait!!!!!!

:D I am taking final pictures as we speak! :D

Hey Bro your rendering is really getting good. I thought we agreed you would quit making these back plates! Do you know how much work our causing me?

Mahhhahh well done my friend!

MUHUAHAHAHAHA! I still consider myself a complete novice when it comes to rendering as I have just been using sketchup and rendering for 3 weeks. I wish there was more time to invest into it.

Update

Well guys. The build is almost complete... I was able to install the LED's onto the GPU plate, and it fit perfectly. The Nylon spacers were a little too long though, as the backplate was touching the RAM clips and wouldn't go into the slot, so I had to file the Nylon spacers down 1.5mm. Not it fits perfectly, everything is now installed and managed, and I am in the process of taking finished build photos :)

Here is a teaser:

I don't know if a build can be featured on botw twice. But agreed, this deserves to be on botw again with all the changes that have been made. I can't wait to see the second set of final pics. That backplate is going to look epic with the LEDs turned in :)
