MetallicAcid's ROG V Gene TJ08-E

epic

You know a build is good when it looks almost as good on the back as the front

Sick build, big fan

It already looked really amazing, by the end it should look so epic!

Thanks guys! We will see if there are any sponsors willing to fund the rad and required GPU block :) This rad box upgrade would be nothing less than perfect if it comes to reality!!

Update

Well! The delivery arrived from UPS 2 days ago at 20:00. Let's just say that I was worried that the box was not sent at all because I had no tracking number or any other info :( But, everything arrived in one piece, and I am a happy camper.

And I finally found 10/6mm silicone tubing to use as an insert into the acrylic tubing for my bending. and rejoice! The first bend was made!

Last but not least, I finally had the parts I needed to make a drain port from the backside of the radiator. It turned out well :)

So, I know that this is just a small update, but there isn't so much time to invest into the computer build when there is a 7 week old beautiful baby girl who is more deserving of my time and attention :D

With thanks to my sponsor Aquatuning!

Progress is a little slower that I would like, but I don't want to take away time spent with my beautiful daughter ;) I can hopefully get some work done over the weekend, so stay tuned!

Really liked the red line things, it really makes the build stand out. How did you manage to do that? I'm guessing you used red leds under the metal? It looks really sexy.

EDIT:

I like your profile pic brother :D

I'll concur with IPCharger's note on the red. I really like the red and black "hell" look. The cutouts in the metal plates really finish it off.

This looks great. I'm planning on doing a V Gene watercooled loop too.

Take a look at the EK Mosfet Block for the board. It would look awesome.

Update

I have been busy trying to get some of the small jobs out of the way, and I had a paid side project to get some PSU cables sleeved, so I thought I would show my work

Here are the Corsair AX850 PSU cables which were sleeved in colours to match his build:
