Hello.

 

Yes, I'm afriad it's another one of these threads. In System Properties, Windows tells me that  have 8GB RAM (correct) but only 6.95 GB usable. This hasn't always been like this - earlier it could use all 8GB. My GPU is a GTX 970, iGPU is on an A10-7850K, which is an HSA chip, so memroy is shared rather than reserved. The OS is 64-bit Windows 8.1, motherboard is Gigabyte F2A88X-D3H rev 3.0 with BIOS F5.

disable the apu, I had the same problem with my a10 when I got a GPU
