i'm getting both done this year. We're covering IP Addresses right now. But before hand we were talking about network topologies and I thought it was super boring. The only one I remember is a Star Topology, but don't ask me what it means...

Lol, we are learning at quite a slow pace because most of our class is complete morons. Most of 'em came into the class with like zero knowledge what so ever.

i have none because well i was too old to get these when schools started do them. and to be honest i dont really need them. plus my uni course has program specific modules so they sort of function as qualifications as they have individual marks

Yeah, my class has a lot of people who don't know what they're doing. I have the lowest grade in my class but have the most knowledge of what we're learning. My teacher doesn't like the fact that I don't do my work, but I do ace the tests.

I don't have the highest grade in my class, but I have like a 93. Most of the reason for that is NY State requires them to integrate math, English, and science into the class, which is total bullshit.

Is comptia a+ even worth getting anymore? Last I heard of it (like 2010?) it had gone from "lifetime" to "3 years", after which you have to pass the exam again?

Well you should first become comfortable in linus... I mean linux. If you have a powerful enough computer you should virtualize it.
