Haircuts

Okay so I'm a guy and i usually have shoulder length hair and a pretty big fringe and i love it! .every year i have to get it cut before school starts. This has been happening annually for 4 years and every year I hate my new haircut with a burning passion, what about you guys?

I usally cut my own hair, so I only have myself to blame for bad haircuts.

I just cut it short with a machine.

I think long hair and guys don't go together. I go for a clean cut every 1 to 2 months. If I wasn't so lazy to spend an hour at the barbershop, I'd go more often.

I go to the barber shop or whatever a lot more frequently than you I guess

I disagree, It can look good, but I mean not too long of course. Like I have is perfect.

It comes to my neck and my good hair genes (black with some brown hair and wavy/shiny) certainly help it.

until i was about 19 i always just told them ot "do whatever you think looks good"

 

I stopped at 19 because this giant jacked barber dude at the most gangster barber shop ever gave be crazy carving and there were stars and waves and crazy stuff carved into my hair... that was the end of that

 

For the last 2 ish years i've just been saying to "clean it up"

That is of course a problem.

Why don't you tell that to whoever is telling you to get a haircut? They can't really force you into a barbershop.

Unless they are like my friends, that just cuts your hair when you're sleeping. I lost a shoulder length mohawk to that, once.

because until a certain age, its understandable your parents want you to look presentable

Do they tell you what haircut to get?

If they don't just cut it into a mohawk. If you get homw with that, your parents will probably think it's a better idea not to get a haircut.

And you will have a bitching haircut. It's a win-win. 

 

To be serious, how old are you? If you are 14+, you should tell your parents, that you can make your own decisions (atleast when it pertains to haircuts).

Your youth is when you can go crazy with different hair styles, since you probably don't have a boss to tell you "no".

I don't usually get my hair cut for about a year and often had it passed my shoulders. But I've grown bored of long hair and now just want to have it short and off slightly to one side.

This. I used to just ask for a specific number, of the cover on the razor and they'd use that all over. Now I just ask them to clean it up and take the weight off of it. Generally my hair is short, but not crew cut style.

I've had the same hair cut since I was about 13(I'm 26 now)... it's just a braid that reaches my lower torso, I've sat on my hair when it's not braided which can be quite annoying.

I've recently got the urge to cut it but no idea what would look good on me as I have round features and a round head.

hair is just an inconvenience, just get it shaved on zero once every 6 months and be done
