Does anybody have insanely unbalanced build?

Like a i3 with a 290x or something like that.

Im just curious to see how it would perform , just for the lulz.

I saw i guy with a 970 and a phenom II on youtube and the bottlneck was really funny.

Mine isn't super unbalanced, but a 280 with a 7850K @ 4GHz. It's enough for a bottleneck.

Its a pet peeve of mine , i would like to see a build like an i3 4130 with a 295x2 to see how it would run things.

Surprisingly better than you would think I would assume seeing as it's a hyper threaded CPU.

i5 4690K and HD 7850 ... not really unbalenced but decent because I can turn the settings down in any game and get 60fps.

I briefly ran a 4.2 GHz Pentium G3258 and a GTX 970. Old Call of Duty games were great as was Bioshock Infinite, but even CPU light games like Tomb Raider and Shadow of Mordor bottlenecked quite a bit and the GPU usage wasn't great. Putting in a Xeon E3-1231v3 cleared that right up though and now it's pretty balanced with high GPU loads.

I see people on this forum with i7s and GTX 750Tis/760s/R9 270s, and all I can think is, I hope you didn't buy that rig with gaming in mind. At least not their #1 priority.

I guess depends on the game , bf4 uses HT and can get you extra ~10 fps.

thats a good chunk of fps, still need to get battlefield actually

my system is unbalanced but not crazy unbalanced its a Amd 64 X2 6000+ with a r7 250, the cpu bottle necks stuff, but I think its just the whole system bottle necks itself.
