you want red ram you buy the cheapest red kit you can find, performance barely changes above 1600mhz, it's just not worth it.

Nice build, the only thing I would change is the RAM. It is a bit on the expensive side.  :D

I would get a better case overall. Zalman is pretty much low-mid end case manufacturer in my eyes. Also it doesn't fit your colour scheme. You can use all the moneys you just saved by cutting the RAM and get something sweet like H440, S340, 750D, 450D, Define R5. Or if you want something more game like 760T.

You should be fine, but I wouldn't do a custom loop on your first build

A red/black H440 would go nicely, I think.

Yep, dark rock 3 will fit :) The cooling with this will be very good, sure you may get better temps with water, but it may not be worth the investment. You do have a top of the line cpu cooler, which is on par with most aio coolers.

P.S. Now that i see other mentioning a different case, I also think that would be a good idea! Hadn't thought of it :)

760T is a great case.

It's basically just DIY watercooling. And the 760t is a great case, I would love one myself :|
