$2000 4K Gaming (But include monitor)

AlwaysFlexin

Ok guys, I got a tough one for you, I've been doing some research and I can't seem to find THAT much information about my current situation. I have a $2000 absolute max budget for a new gaming rig. I don't have a 4k monitor or TV, so that would need to be included as well. I've seen the LTT $1000 4k gaming build, but I want one that will run AAA titles. Most of my gaming is running the latest games for a few weeks and then getting bored of them, I don't play LOL, WOW, and other games like that.

Notes:

-Don't worry about storage, I have an 840 EVO as well as enough HDD for now

-Don't need peripherals other than the monitor

-Would really appreciate different options if possible(Intel, AMD, Nvidia), I'm not a fan boy.

Thank you guys so much, hopefully this isn't too difficult.

P.S. yes, I'm following my thread :)

EDIT: Please read post #17, I added a few questions based off results.

This is your best bet... A bit overbudget, assuming you don't have a Windows Key...
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/rMCMD3

Should out perform the ones posted above it....

Removed windows key.

This is a future proof build too, due to the 16 GB of ram... If you're a heavy multitasker you NEED it... If not you can shave off a few bucks!

Ok guys, so after seeing your responses (thank you all btw) it seems that there are really a couple things up for debate.

-I was thinking the 4690k would be enough for 4k gaming, but some posted an i7, any not so obvious reasons why?

-8 vs 16 GB Ram?

-I was already pre-leaning GTX 970 SLI, what beats that for 4k and how? explanation please

-Does anything beat the Samsung U28D590D 60Hz 28 inch monitor? Thing seems like a beast

-Everything else is pretty self explanatory.

Thanks again guys!
