How about front and back intake and top exhaust?

The back intake would blow straight intot eh CPU cooling fan in the opposit direction.  Negative pressure is okay as far as cooling goes.  You will get it dusty a bit faster, that is all.  Dust your PC about once every six months, which you should do anyways.

There is nothing wrong with the NZXT stock fans. They are quite good in fact. For the build contemplated there really is no need to add more fans. The three intake and one exhaust should provide sufficient air flow.

I like that.  I personally max out all my fan slots, but that's me.

How about front and back intake and top exhaust?

From what brob said I realized you can put only 2 120mm in the top and equalize the pressure for the most part...  instead of putting all three.  If you just put one in the top, the case will lean towards positive internal pressure.

Sufficient? Like at the highest usage point it won't go over say 70C?

@NumLock21

But I need less noise and AIOs make a lot afaik :/

 Without any crazy overclock you can keep the fan setings for your AIO cooler at low rpm and it wont do any audible noise. My H100i used to keep my i54690k at 20ish ºC and wouldnt go above 30ish or 40ºC while playing. This is before i did a slight overclock tho.

If you do end up going for air cooling dont forget to check for cooler and RAM height compatibility like other members already noted.

My build: CPU: Intel i5-4690K; Motherboard: Asus RoG Maximus VII Ranger; RAM: Kingston Hyper X 16GB 1833Mhz; GPU: Gigabyte Windforce G1 Gaming GTX 960 2GB; PSU: Corsair CX750M; Storage: Kingston 240GB SSD + Synology NAS w/ WD Red 1TB; Cooling: Corsair H110Case: Corsair 450D; Accessories: Asus RoG Front Base;

your worrying too much. Use stock fan first, then buy later on. Right now buget goes into your main components like gpu and cpu not fans.
