Anyone have any other suggestions? The zoom seems good but a smaller keychain attachable one would take first priority. I'm actually surprised that I can't find a good quality consumer mini recording device anywhere at this stage in the tech era..

Yeah phone is what I would normally use but it's clunky having to open an app and calls disrupting the recording + what if the phone battery dies in the middle of a 2 hour lecture, etc, etc. So just looking for a tiny rechargeable at least 320kbps device that i can just swtich on and off manually whenever I need it to record basically.

Thanks for the suggestion, but not sure how it would be able to pick up audio from inside my bag?

Hey guys, I've been looking for a small, good quality, indicator-less USB (not necessarily) flash drive audio recorder for my university lectures much like the ones here: But the problem is that these Amazon ones are all cheaply made Chinese devices with low file transfer speeds and only 128kbps audio recording with zero noise cancellation whatsoever. I was wondering if anyone knows of any better quality (presumably higher priced) recorders that double as high-speed USBs and maybe with more storage as well? If not that, then just a really small good quality audio recorder that fits on a keychain? Thanks a lot for any help.

Thanks . Well... I was contemplating that for a long time... But I can't think of a use for a third unfortunately . I was thinking of some excuse to get one because it would look amazing but I couldn't think of anything past 2... Game on one - Essay on the other... Or game on one - Video on the other... Lol.

So, thanks to your help I've completed my first build (much appreciated). I want to get opinions on this though... Should I, instead of having the tower there, tuck it under the desk and put a big white bookshelf in place of the garbage bin + tower? I found a dirt cheap one on sale with perfect dimensions for that size hole but I can't decide. Thanks .

Oh I just turned it on and there are no more red LEDs that stay on... But the power button on the motherboard is red. And it's still not displaying anything on the monitor. How do I reset BIOS?
