Well things didn't go to plan but @Corwin111 will be "hosting" one next week to make up for this weeks poor attempt, make sure you follow the thread

Yeah, looking forward to getting the i5, hitting anything was near impossible,

the one thing I love about this game is the skill level, it doesn't matter what ship you have as you can still reach the top of the scoreboard if your good enough

it would be nice to see where the LTT stands in terms of player skill.

Ranges from a few of the top players to the worlds worst (me)

Well congrats everyone, we bettered our leaderboard placement by 11 last night.

There are formidable pilots in this org. Every time we play together, I am impressed. It's much harder to hit or dodge most of you guys than it is to go against the PUGs in an average random multiplayer match.

 

Yet, the problem is very few of our guys seem to play any competitive matches at all. If only our best four or five people decide to play like two BR or SB games a day, whenever they have the time, we'll get UOLTT in the top 10 and keep it there.

 

And if like 100 of our 3000 guys decided to do it, we'd probably be competing for the top 3 before long. There are hardcore specialist orgs like The 1%-ers  that would be hard to compete against at the very top but still... we can drown them in sheer numbers. :D

Well said, I intend to get back to the top of the leaderboard and we could rally the troops on the RSI forum but I don't know where the best place to do that without catching to much attention from the other orgs

Ive been up in the top 30 several times, i just get disheartened every time they reset the leader boards lol. Plus i dont really play that much

The year is 20XX. Everyone plays Fox at TAS levels of perfection. Because of this, the winner of a match depends solely on port priority. The RPS metagame has evolved to ridiculous levels due to it being the only remaining factor to decide matches.

Only Abate, Axe, and Wobbles can save us.

Maybe. haha! Well she did recognise and say she loved the Binding of Issac so maybe there's hope! She also said that she used to play a lot of PC before she moved but I'm not sure what type of games she was talking about... :mellow:

Fingers crossed, my wife is currently playing theme hospital again and was a big fan of COD but she still hates me playing on my PC.

We'll probably get divorced when Star Citizen comes out :)

I just hope enough people turn up to have a nice evening. :) Perhaps you can edit the OP to add a caveat that the 18th meetup will be held on the 25th.

 

Btw is there any news about the TS server?

I don't know who Laura K is... and I hope not on the FB games. haha, maybe I can get her to be a semi PC gamer :)

start with games like child of light or bastion.

They tend to be more attractive to people with ...less gaming interests.

Done, spell checked and added next months as well, TBH 5 peeps would've been fun enough as the public match was tougher than expected but ya know TS issues.

 

As for the server I haven't had a chance to speak to @ixi_your_face but will try to setup one as a backup if i get time, if not we will have to suss something out.

Worst case scenario, we can hijack someone else's TS server again. I have two more for MWO and one for EVE. ;)
