Can't connect to steam

So after i tried to change the download server and restarted steam it gave me a message saying that it cannot connect to the steam servers:

Yup.

 

Seems like it's just gone. The website is fine though.

Ok, nevermind, it looks like it's fixed, though earlier I uninstalled steam, so now I have a lots of games that i can't use, can I link them back to steam somehow? or do I have to download them again?

Yep, I noticed, it was a big coincidence though, as soon as i changed the server, it went down  :rolleyes:

I wish i didn't uninstalled steam, now I have to download all my games again, it's gonna take a year  :(

Are the games still in any folders that you have lying around?

Are the games still in any folders that you have lying around?

All my games are on my HDD, steam was on my SSD, so yeah, I still have the files
