GOG Sale and Torchlight for Free!

watts

Hi Guys, Came across this article

http://www.gamesradar.com/torchlight-free-gogs-drm-free-summer-sale/

Torchlight is being given away for free at GOG. I do like my games in steam however cant turn down a freebie. It does say 7.50 but as soon as you log in it turns to free.

There is also a sale going on at GOG. Iv only really used it for classics like Settlers 2, Constructor and Dungeon Keeper.

I just made a GOG account just for Torchlight. I may end up using GOG more know that I have an account. Having no DRM is really cool.

All of their prices are pretty much the same as steams, But in $ instead of €. Yay, everything is 15% Cheaper!

Love their UI btw.

I prefer GOG over Steam... You get an actual installer that you can back up on your drive for every game, no DRM ever, and always available offline. And the thing about GOG is, there are almost no crappy games on it. Pretty much getting on GOG assures the game is a classic in the first place, or part of a classic series. So the only not-that-great games on GOG will be part of a series that had one or more super-awesome games.

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.

Already have it DRM free from the humble bundle (plus the steam version) but another version isn't gonna kill me :P I picked up Rollercoaster tycoon 1 when it was on sale for $1, and i have my copy of the witcher 2 on there as well when it was given away free for people who have the retail copy. :D

It's minimalistic and clean.

And although apple is overpriced, their design is still amazing.
