If I were to get a 5820k I would use it to build a new system to replace my aging fx4100 and be my first Intel rig to be my workstation/part time gaming rig, and I've been needing a new workstation for a while.

I would sell my i7 4790k, maximus VII gene and ram and buy X99 mobo(Asus X99-a i think) and DDR4 ram.
