Posted December 11, 2014 Ubisoft has announced a HD Version of Heros of Might and Magic III set or release early next year. The remake will remain "faithful" to the original with seven campaign scenarios, 48 skirmish maps, a map editor, local multiplayer, and a Steamwroks-powered online multiplayer lobby. As well as upgraded graphics that will stray similar to the original as well as support for widescreen monitors. "Community is at the core of the Might and Magic series, and we wanted to thank their everlasting support by bringing back the epic tale of Queen Catherine Ironfist," Might and Magic Creative Director Erwan le Breton said in a statement. "We wanted to keep the heart of what made Heroes III one of the most renowned titles of the series, while providing an enhanced visual experience and offering the possibility to also play the game on tablets." Based on the description for the game it appears that the HD Release will only include the base game and no DLC. Heros of Might and Magic III is set to hit Steam's virtual shelves on January 29th, 2015 Lets see if this will be Ubisofts first game that will run on PC Well with no weird shenanigans going on. Posted December 11, 2014 I don't understand why gaming companies release these very ancient games. I want new IP titles not re-released old crap remastered from 8 bit to 10 bit. Test ideas by experiment and observation; build on those ideas that pass the test, reject the ones that fail; follow the evidence wherever it leads and question everything. Posted December 11, 2014 Heroes 3 was my favorite version, the earlier ones are close but only for nostalgic reasons. If they really value community as the core reason they do this can they please fix the fucking multilayer sync and save game issues in heroes 6......
