Will the 9560 finnally beat intel?

I think it will def. beat the i5 and possibly i7.

Seeing as how we dont really know any of the specs except it's clocked at 5ghz, and that it has 8 cores, all i can really go off is the rumored price.

Amd's price to performance ratios are really good, and if this thing costs 5-6-700 bucks like everyone is rumoring it to cost,

my bet is that it will beat the 4770k and compete really well/beat the the 3930k.

This is just based on the RUMORED price though. Take it "with a grain of salt" i guess.

My Rig: AMD FX-8350 @ 4.5 Ghz, Corsair H100i, Gigabyte gtx 770 4gb, 8 gb Patriot Viper 2133 mhz, Corsair C70 (Black), EVGA Supernova 750g Modular PSU, Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 motherboard, Asus next gen wifi card.

Wait, what? @that TDP level there is no competition!

Hopefuly I am wrong, and the real TDP will be 140W like the first phenoms.

i think it is priced high because it would be limited and special but not because of performance ... a 5ghz 8350 only properly beats and i5 and amd probably edges out a 3770k ... that is only guess though so if u have some salt left over you are free to use

(1) high frame rate (2) ultra graphics settings (3) cheap...>> choose only two<<...

if it's never been done then i'm probably tryna do it. (((((((Bass so low it HERTZ)))))))

It's a Cool-It OEM like Corsair's H60, but with a Maingear logo on it.

Anyone know what ROG board that is.

Crosshair V Formula.  You can see the text printed on the board below the GPU.

This is probably a maingear pre-built system, judging by that logo...

Also that's probably pulling about as much power as a small city ...

its not about the speed, its about how well engineered the architecture is. My ivy i7 has a tdp of 85w @4.4 ghz. Sure the Amd is faster but the fact tzhat it requires over 300% more power just goes to show you how far ahead intel really is. Its like putting rocket fuel in a old shitty car and expecting it to beat out a ferrari running on regular gas.

Cars cannot run with rocket fuel.

I couldn't care less about how much power is required to run it.

Sure it's nice to save some money in electricity costs. But if the speed and performance is worth it, I'll definitely pay the price. I'm getting tired of the current state of technology where specs are staying generally the same just becoming more energy efficient.

I'd love to see a massive leap in performance, speed and double or even triple the power consumption. If these so called "enthusiast" grade pieces of hardware cost so much upfront why is everyone concerned about a little higher power cost...

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

actually thats incorrect. with some slight tuning, and maybe about 5$ worth of parts you can put high octane fuel into a car (same in planes). i did it with an rx7. not that hard to do.

Rocket fuel is like.. liquid oxygen and hydrogen... not high octane gasoline or ethanol
