The Pentium HTPC downstairs is an Asus board and it does not have IDE. 

 

iirc I think it's this one but not 100% sure http://www.asus.com/ph/Motherboards/P5G41TM_LX3/

That is so odd. I have a motherboard with that same exact chipset, but it has IDE. I guess the manufacturer can choose to not include IDE, even though the chipset supports it. Weird. :/

Mine would have to be Maxwell, also to the OP there needs to be a multiple choice list mate.

X99/Haswell-E is the most fun/interesting, but more something to droor/fangirl-out over than something I would seriously consider purchasing.

GTX 970 however, I might have seriously considered purchasing were I in the market for a new Video Card.
