Corsair 750D airflow?

powerpug

I've been looking at getting the corsair 750D and it looks great, but I do have one concern. The front panel is a solid piece of aluminum/plastic and I was wondering if that would have any serious effects on how well the front fans would be able to pull in air. I was also wondering if there are any big advantages to going with a full tower (750D) as opposed to a mid tower (450D). Thanks for any help!

the front panel is a solid piece of plastic with a 2mm aluminum plate glued onto it*

Fixed it for you.

I'd go 450D if I were you.

That's the exact reason I got a 450D instead of the 750D

If you are really concerned with airflow I would suggest the 450D, Take a look at the 780t also!

Only thing I do not like about the 450D (I own one) is that there is bad wiring iptions. Doesn'tcome with a case to cover your PSU and there are no wiring holes about the mother board.

750D airflow is perfectly fine. It's not as good as a 450D, but that's kind of obvious, like look at the holes on the front lol

The front panel is solid but there is a large gap all around the edges of the panel that allows airflow to get to the fans without coming in directly from the front.

This does not restrict airflow very much though.

If you want to cover PSU, look at the Enthoo cases, or H440.

here is a fix for the 750D flow issues:

corsair_750D_front_plate_vented_vent_hol

http://mnpctech.com/mnpctech-clear-case-pc-panels/corsair-750d-front-plate/

advantages 750D:

larger, able to fit a larger amount of radiators and water cooling options, best

SLI/CFX for air/water cooling, larger HDD/SSD capacity.

cons 750D:

larger, does have a bit of a front airflow issue (remedied), can be overbearing

in size to hardware used, side panels are a bit flimsy and non-supportive to

the overall case rigidity.

Are there any 3rd party solutions if I already have purchased the 450D xD?
