Ugliest Tech Ever

I prefer the design of the Xbox One over the PS4. I don't like the angle, I don't like the touch sensitive buttons that are integrated in the space between the four panels (they're annoying to use, I have a PS4) and I don't like the multi-colored LED. Weird nitpicks, but I still prefer the XB1's design. Both of them had about equal thought put in the design, but because the Xbox One looks more conventional, it means that now the designers were lazy. It's like calling the designers of NZXT's cases visionaries and the designers of Fractal Design's cases boring.

Okay well liking the design is different from thinking its pretty. It's not pretty. I dont have either of the "next-gen" consoles haha sticking to my ps3 for a console its good enough  :P

It looks like they took an Xbox One and chopped the front and back off at 45 degree angles.

Though that is more personal preference, and the size doesn't matter that much to me so long as you have room on your television stand/entertainment center (which I do, but you may not.)

Basically a 360 Slim crammed into a smaller, cheaper house, and with a cheaper and louder DVD drive. Thermals are improved slightly, as far as I can tell. Looks better.

XBOX_360_35791989_35791991_35789091_3579

EDIT: And you loose a USB port on the rear, but you do get a smaller RCA deal (no more huge plug, just a nice little connector like a 3.5mm jack)).

WTF?!?! so depending on who came up with it first its the same as the PS3 super slim which means both firms for some reason decided to create a new console for cheaper for no logical reason

The next gen consoles are out, but they still made older consoles. Kinda like a last hoo-rah. Makes perfect sense, since then they can rake in a ton of money from a last run of the consoles in holiday bundles.

I did too. That's why it came to my mind so quickly. I remember playing the Sonic N demo at Gamestop and was like, "THIS IS A PHONE TOO??"

I never got it. No regrets.

I found this gem. I'm not sure whether to cringe, laugh, or cry, but a PC that looks like a stove?

It would be ironic if this thing had good thermals.

minicookerpc1.jpg

I've built 3 PC's, but none for myself... In fact, I'm using an iMac that my dad bought for me as my desktop. Awkward...

Please don't say "SSD drive." By doing so, you are literally saying "Solid State Drive Drive" and causing my brain cells to commit suicide. The same applies to HDD (Hard Disk Drive) and PCIe (Peripheral Component Interconnect Express).

That. is. Genius.

EDIT: since it called the "MiniCooker" it deserves an FX-9590 and a GTX480

I think the Xbox One is pretty. But as for the PS4 and Wii U...

For me, that looks like a big black block of cheese. And the angles don't work to me.

And honey, I melted our Wii and it's remotes to make this horrifying set.

Personally as long as it's black I don't think it matters. Slide them into the TV cabinet and forget that they're even there. It's not like it's something you display and show off or something that you have to look at every time you use it.
