Memblaze debuts 8TB EBlaze4 PCIe SSD

40935_01_memblaze_debuts_new_8tb_nvme_eb

Memblaze has just announced their latest behemoth of an SSD with an 8TB capacity.

Meet the Eblaze4 the flagship SSD of Memblaze, one of the largest PCIe SSD suppliers in the Chinese market, if not the world.

This PCIe SSD comes in the standard HHHL form factor and also is available in a 2.5" design.

The EBlaze4 several varieties, the 500, 700, and 900 Series and sports the NVMe interface.

The 500 and 700 Series offer up to 3.6 and 3.2TB of capacity respectively with sequential reads and writes of 2.5/1.8 GBps on a PCIe 3.0 x4 connection.

The 500 Series offers 500,000/40,000 read/write IOPS, and the 700 offering a larger 500,000/150,000 read/write IOPS. The flagship 900 Series brings a colossal 8.0TB on a single device with simply amazing sequential speeds of 4.5/2.5 GB/s read/write.

The Eblaze4 900 Series delivers a whopping 900,000 random read IOPS, beating even the fastest PCIe offerings from other manufacturers. Random write speed is equally impressive at 250,000 IOPS. The Eblaze4 900 Series could also be the first PCIe SSD that utilizes a x8 PCIe 3.0 connection.

So.. I searched, Nothing came up, sorry if repost.

I think this is quite epic, and hopefully will trickle soon into lower prices on higher capacities.

No stoner would prioritize this over their Weed,....You'd totally have to give up your drug addictions to afford it.

But.. future looks promising.
