Blizzard bans thousand's of Hearthstone bot accounts

About Damn Time..

Hearthstone+ITA+Gioco+online+carte+Blizz

If you didn't know, there are botnet servers that let you use your account &  letting the illicit software play Hearthstone through the night for you,This had been reported a while ago but blizzard didnot respond to this , until now..

“These accounts will be banned until 2015. As we’ve stated, fair play is at the core of the Hearthstone experience, and cheating and botting will not be tolerated. We’re committed to creating a fun and rewarding environment for our players, and we will continue to closely monitor activities within Hearthstone and take appropriate action against cheating in any form, as outlined in our Terms of Use.”

For those who play late at night, the situation had become particularly ludicrous. At its worst, around a third of my opponents seemed to be bots.

meanwhile Blizzard will continue the bans on the offending accounts only get what’s effectively a two month ban for flagrantly breaching the terms of service,

Please Leave your thoughts & comments down belooooo...w

I too would have preferred a permanent ban. Hopefully this is just a slap on the wrist to show that they can find out if you're cheating and will permanent ban after 2015 starts.

I don't get it? Why would someone download a game and not play it but to instead have a program play it for them instead?

Its like having a leather sofa but not sitting on it but to instead sit on the floor... Not sure this analogy works entirely to the point but you get it.

Well, the idea behind it is that the bot "grinds" for them, by getting them gold and new cards, so that they can then just jump in and play.

Of course, it's still ridiculous and douchey.

Good for Blizzard. I think this is a good start. Once 2015 hits, I hope they revise the policy for longer and/or permanent bans. This is a good warning period, saying "Hey, if you're Botting, then you better stop now! This is your last warning!"

it doesnt actually work like that. Ive bought 80 packs, and got most of the cards ive wanted. But lets say you want to play the game without spending money (doesnt make sense in a card game, but lets assume this)

In hearthstone you can play "free" with the cards blizzard give's you. But there are only 5 or 6 decent ones from like 40 free to play cards, so if you want to make a "decent" deck, you would need to buy card packs.

The guys who use bots farm 140ish gold per day. Since you only get 10 gold each 3 wins... you would need 30 wins per day to buy 1 pack of cards (assuming you dont play arena). Thats like 4 or 5 hours per day, thats madness, i only play like 1 hour per day at most.... i dont know who has enough free time to play so much..

They do play, but let the bot do the grinding
