Best free PC games for GTX 980

would like to see what my 980 is capable of, but dont want to spend money. are there any good games with good graphics that can take advantage of the 980?

Current Rig:   CPU: AMD 1950X @4Ghz. Cooler: Enermax Liqtech TR4 360. Motherboard:Asus Zenith Extreme. RAM: 8GB Crucial DDR4 3666. GPU: Reference GTX 970  SSD: 250GB Samsung 970 EVO.  HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 2TB. Case: Phanteks Enthoo Pro. PSU: Corsair RM1000X. OS: Windows 10 Pro UEFI mode  (installed on SSD)

Peripherals:  Display: Acer XB272 1080p 240Hz G Sync Keyboard: Corsair K95 RGB Brown Mouse: Logitech G502 RGB Headhet: Roccat XTD 5.1 analogue

Daily Devices:Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact and 128GB iPad Pro

well i got the origin game time trial of titanfall and plays perfectly at max settings

You 980 should be handle any game.... Really.

Just make sure it's not a game with horrible optimization like

Usually the reason for buying a high end card is because you already own games you want to play at high details (I'll skip resolution because hopefully it's not less than 1080p).

you could try planetside 2 but it will stress your cpu quite a lot too

Final fantasy 14 seems okay. Free trial of other mmos but...do yourself a favor. Steam summer sale. Games are outstandingly cheap and such. Then again you could just play solitare like DJ said. Maybe you could even fit in minesweeper at 14,000 fps but that's pushing it.
